Thanks for the photo of the sign. I wrote to the person listed to find out who the applicant was and why Preston St. couldn’t be preserved as public land for at least a path. No reply from City staff but Catherine McKenney explained it was not an invitation for comments, but a notice that Preston St. as shown on the sign is gone for good. It seems the whole sign was misleading, not just the street name. Also, the debate about the closure being reasonable is over before it started.
